We have secured one-time and recurring six-figure grants from L.A.'s largest foundations and corporate donors amd increased special event net revenue for a key L.A. nonprofit by 1000 percent through corporate sponsorships, silent and live auctions, and event donors. We also have increased corporate involvement to help support the daily operations of our nonprofits.
We have secured six figure federal, state and local government grants for our nonprofit clients. One of our most recent accomplishments was securing almost $400,000 for a nonprofit to transform their food rescue efforts through a state grant that allowed them to double their walk-in refrigeration capacity and completely renovate their commercial kitchen to prepare meals for the homeless from rescued food.
We have secured COVID-19-specific funding for nonprofit clients to not only maintain existing staffing and operations, but to cover additional COVID-19 expenses including temporary staffing, contracted security guards, extra food and program expenses, PPE for employees, and additional operating expenses to continue to navigate through the pandemic and beyond and provide essential services.
I have volunteered alongside Marianne for many years. She was always diligent in her work, dedicated to the mission, energetic in her support and creative in her approach.
